The hotel had a very generous size room that was comfortable despite being a bit dark and smelling slightly of mold due to limited ventilation. Staying at the hotel felt like being in an old boutique in Venice with large and spacious rooms set on beautiful grounds. However, there was a funny smell in the room, and the food was disappointing. After requesting a room change with apologies, we were relocated to a different room further from the pool and reception hall, which was not a problem.
