The hotel had a very generous size room that was comfortable despite being a bit dark and smelling slightly of mold due to limited ventilation. The service was a mix of unhelpful and very friendly and helpful experiences. The location, set up like an old village, was lovely to stay in, close to Sigiriya Lion Rock monument. The dining offered great choices with a fantastic buffet. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly staff and a unique atmosphere.

Staying at the hotel felt like being in an old boutique in Venice with large and spacious rooms set on beautiful grounds. However, there was a funny smell in the room, and the food was disappointing. After requesting a room change with apologies, we were relocated to a different room further from the pool and reception hall, which was not a problem.
