Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a very generous size room that was comfortable despite being a bit dark and smelling slightly of mold due to limited ventilation. The service was a mix of unhelpful and very friendly and helpful experiences. The location, set up like an old village, was lovely to stay in, close to Sigiriya Lion Rock monument. The dining offered great choices with a fantastic buffet. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly staff and a unique atmosphere.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff making my stay even better. The location was great, providing stunning views of Sigiriya Rock. The dining experience was good, although not outstanding. Overall, a lovely experience with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel offers spacious rooms that are a bit worn out but overall comfortable. The service is good, with some areas needing improvement. The location is beautiful and practical for exploring nearby attractions. The dining options are varied but slightly overpriced. The facilities are well-maintained.
Staying at the hotel felt like being in an old boutique in Venice with large and spacious rooms set on beautiful grounds. However, there was a funny smell in the room, and the food was disappointing. After requesting a room change with apologies, we were relocated to a different room further from the pool and reception hall, which was not a problem.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with lots of hot water, sweet and attentive staff, and reasonably priced food at the resort. However, the musty smell was a downside. After a room change, the new room was more comfortable, although it was warmer than desired when left unattended.
The hotel is in need of refurbishment and has a strong mildew smell, but it offers all necessary facilities for a comfortable stay, though not up to 4-star standards. The service is exceptional and accommodating, making arrangements for various activities. The location is perfect for accessing Sigiriya Lion Rock easily, with stunning views. The dining options are varied but considered overpriced. Overall, the hotel provides mixed experiences with room conditions needing improvement.
The hotel rooms are tired-looking and in need of an uplift, but the breakfast is worth double the price. The service is friendly and helpful, and the location is good for exploring nearby attractions. However, the rooms needed renovation long ago.
